I completed a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy at Curtin University, and initially worked at SCGH gaining experience in Orthopaedics and Plastic Surgery wards, before moving into the specialist hand and upper limb area. After finishing my time in Perth training hospitals, I was fortunate enough to spend the next 10 years working and further honing my skills in private practice. In 2018 I returned to the Public System working as Occupational Therapy Lead within the Fiona Stanley Hospital Plastics Department and Fremantle Hospital Hand Service.
With a wealth of experience and a strong dedication to patient care, I am proud to have collaborated with some of Perth’s most esteemed Hand and Upper Limb Surgeons, as well as Occupational Physicians, Sports Physicians, Rheumatologists, General Practitioners. I have provided comprehensive post-operative and conservative treatments to patients of all ages, including paediatrics, as well as workers compensation cases, and sportspeople from the weekend warrior to professional athlete. I am passionate about restoring function and improving the quality of life for individuals facing hand and upper limb challenges.
My vision is to create a Hand Therapy service, in which patients are afforded consistent delivery of high quality care by experienced therapists.
